Drawing of Richard Harris as 'Albus Dumbledore' from the books/films of Harry Potter.

Richard Harris played Dumbledore in the first two movies before he died. He was replaced by Sir Michael Gambon, who may look fairly similar.. but actually plays this character waaay differently than Harris. ( :nuu: )

It really bothers me, because when I see Gambon, I just see this guy trying to play Dumbledore and kinda fails..
But Harris, in the two first movies, really IS Dumbledore, in exactly the way imagined and described in the books. He was a perfect Dumbledore.

By the way: In my language, norwegian, Albus Dumbledore is called 'Albus Humlesnurr' :P

Richard Harris was good when Dumbledore was softer, but I think Sir Gambon worked better as Dumbledore got more intense.
